Full responsibility for the procurement of products and services, identifying suppliers in Israel and abroad, and managing and monitoring the company’s purchase orders.
The role involves both operational and tactical/strategic procurement, with a focus on meeting deadlines, ensuring material quality, and reducing costs.
The procurement manager is required to collaborate with all departments within the organization, identify needs, locate new suppliers, and ensure the ongoing availability of materials in accordance with production plans.
Areas of responsibility:
• Adherence to SLAs with internal and strategic clients.
• Ongoing handling of quotes, project pricing, and responding to marketing and control inquiries.
• Negotiating, securing price reductions, and identifying alternative suppliers in Israel and abroad.
• Managing purchase requests, purchase orders, and orders in the Priority system.
• Tracking deliveries, advances, delays, and cancellations, including updating delivery dates in the system.
• Handling supplier issues (delays, shortages, rejections, MOQ) and providing operational solutions.
• Managing shipments to subcontractors and customers in accordance with company procedures.
• Inventory control.
• Generating procurement reports and monitoring performance with suppliers.
• Initiatives to improve and streamline procurement processes and reduce costs.
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of experience in a procurement role in industry/manufacturing – required.
• Experience in purchasing spare parts and maintenance supplies, experience in purchasing raw materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Full proficiency in the Priority system – required.
• Proven experience in negotiation and cost reduction.
• Full proficiency in Excel and Office applications.
• Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to work independently, organized, detail-oriented, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Work hours:
Full-time, Sun–Thu, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
