Job Description
The essence of the role:
Planning and supervision of the supply chain from receipt of the order to its delivery to the customer, in coordination with all departments.
Responsibility for approving orders and providing a commitment to delivery on time and in quantities, in accordance with production capabilities and in coordination with the customer support department.
Prioritizing and transferring tasks between production lines according to urgency and meeting delivery times.
Breaking down orders into product trees, purchase orders, production schedules and inventory allocations, while continuously interfacing with departments: engineering, purchasing, logistics and quality control.
Management, maintenance and distribution of weekly work plans to the production, engineering, auditing, purchasing and maintenance departments.
Opening, monitoring and ongoing updating of production schedules, including handling delays and providing solutions to bottlenecks.
Monitoring actual production progress, and ongoing reporting of production statuses to management.
Planning and managing raw material inventory in accordance with production plans.
Early warning of deviations from the work plan or expected delays in supplies.
Responsible for the reliability of production reports and all inventory found in WIP.
Direct management of the TAFI team – including the distribution of tasks, ongoing supervision, professional guidance, and kashrut.
Leading process improvement and optimal utilization of resources in the department and work interfaces.
Responsibility and leadership of inventory counts from the operations side, including coordination between the relevant parties, preparation of inventory for counting, and gap analysis.
Requirements:
Management experience - an advantage
Priority – Mandatory
Advanced Excel – required
Experience in a manufacturing company – required
Familiarity with building work plans based on production means – mandatory
Management Links - Required
Familiarity with MRP system operation – an advantage
Relevant education – a must!
