Managing teams of quality inspectors in 4 production departments: planning, task distribution, ongoing control and providing a response to all production units.
Creating a balance between the audit teams between the departments according to workload and operational needs.
Performing and leading in-process quality audits and final audits on the company premises, as well as source audits at suppliers/subcontractors as needed.
Building a forward work plan for new projects in accordance with the company's work plan.
Leading the organizational SPC system: employee reports, system operation, and ongoing work with the end customer.
Responsibility for training, induction and professional certification for visitors and employees.
Participate in, lead, and conduct quality investigations into internal malfunctions and customer complaints; initiate corrective/preventive actions and effectively close them with the relevant parties.
Promoting awareness of customer requirements at all levels of the organization.
Determining measurement methods and adapting measurement equipment to the process.
Accompanying internal quality audits and implementing decisions regarding quality aspects.
Mandatory requirements
Experience as a senior quality auditor in industry – experience and in-depth knowledge in machining is required.
Management experience in leading employees/team (work planning, load distribution, motivation and performance monitoring).
Experience in quality research: familiarity, participation and leadership; familiarity with quality research methods.
Assertiveness and leadership ability, including motivating employees and standing up to interfaces.
Ability to plan work and build forward work plans.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders (production, quality, engineering, customer).
Willingness to work long hours.
