Information Systems and Operations Manager
General description of the role :
Overall responsibility for the computing infrastructure, information systems, production software, and the system.
Development, maintenance, integration and leadership of technological solutions, while maintaining ongoing interface with all plant departments and suppliers.
External software.
Subordination: Plant CEO
Location: Tefen Industrial Zone
Job scope: Full-time + willingness to work overtime as needed
Main areas of responsibility:
Management, support and maintenance of all computer systems in the factory
Control of the ongoing operation and maintenance of computerized production systems
Management and support of the factory's ERP system (including development and implementation of new processes)
Ongoing work with software providers for maintenance, updates and developments
Troubleshooting computing problems at the user and infrastructure level
Improving technological processes and leading development projects
Continuous work with the production, purchasing, logistics and management departments for impurities in the systems.
Backup management, information security and operational continuity of computer systems
Leading technological innovation according to the needs of the plant
Job requirements:
Engineering degree or Industrial and Management Engineer, / Machinery / Software or Information Systems
Programming knowledge
Mastery of ERP systems - a significant advantage for experience with industrial systems
Understanding the Priority System
Experience working in a manufacturing environment – a significant advantage
Familiarity with the world of carpentry – an advantage
Previous experience in integration with multiple software systems
Control of computer communications, hardware, software, servers and networks
Excellent interpersonal skills, order and high self-management ability
Residence in the north of the country – mandatory (proximity to the Tefen area)
Required skills:
Systems thinking and problem-solving ability
Service access for factory employees
Responsibility, reliability, punctuality and high self-learning ability
Ability to manage multiple interfaces simultaneously
Initiating and leading technological processes in the organization
Proficiency in English
