Job Description
Purpose of the role:
Preventing downtime and problems through ongoing maintenance of the plant (machinery, structure, etc.) to prevent malfunctions and check the need for repairs and problem solving.
Providing a quick and effective response to problems.
Department: Maintenance - Operations and Supply Chain
Reporting to: Maintenance Department Manager.
Internal interaction: shift managers, machine operators.
External interaction: suppliers
Areas of responsibility:
• Scheduling periodic treatments, coordinating treatments according to team availability and production planning, documenting the treatment upon completion of the work.
• Concentration of external tests (calibrations, certified tester, oil tests, etc.)
Coordinating the arrival of an external inspector, filing the inspections and following up.
• Ongoing technical procurement, receipt of goods, receipt of several price quotes for price comparison.
• Recording and tracking of machine faults and operations.
• Acceptance and reception tests for inventory of goods, checking compliance with specifications.
• Routine maintenance of machines - working the morning shift with willingness to work overtime + shifts.
• Troubleshooting.
• Preventive maintenance
• Building maintenance
• Partnership for establishing projects and absorbing lines (receiving new machines/parts from the machine testing stage to operating the machine/parts in the factory).
• Work according to work plans and maintenance schedules.
• Filling out reports.
• Providing a quick solution to problems.
Job requirements:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the industry
• License to work in electricity - an advantage
• Background in machine maintenance. - Advantage
• Knowledge of pneumatics and machinery, reading drawings, machine operating interfaces
• Availability for support calls during unusual days and hours and weekends, willingness to work overtime.
• Creativity and improvisation skills.
• High service awareness.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team
• Knowledge of the English language – technical reading is an advantage.
• Mobility – ability to get around by car
• Residences – up to a distance of 30 km from the Migdal Tefen Industrial Zone.
• Education:
• Electrician, assistant, certified or mechanical engineer, electrical
